Sharing thoughts from Medium
Medium has a Publishing API which allows users to seamlessly publish posts to their Medium profiles. There is even a plugin for WordPress which allows for the cross-posting of WordPress posts to Medium. There was not, however, a plugin to integrate Medium posts into a WordPress theme at the time of development.
Medium does nonetheless offer an RSS feed. And by taking advantage of PHP’s SimpleXML functions, I was able to integrate Medium posts into the theme.
